Currently Peacock is only available in the United States, but hopefully will expand to other countries soon. No word yet on when the show will premier or if you will need a subscription to view the highly anticipated series. The subscription also allows you to have next day access of ongoing shows, whereas the free version has ads and shows the new episode within that week. Depending on the tier you pick, some have ads and the top tier does not. For $4.99/$9.99 a month, everything that is in the free service and Peacock Original shows can viewed with a subscription. Peacock is currently a free service that features classic tv series, movies and some Peacock Original series. Vampire Academy will air on Peacock Streaming service, owned by NBCUniversal. Legacies is in it’s current third season and has characters from both The Vampire Diaries and The Originals. The show ran for five seasons and spun off the show Legacies. The Originals took viewers to New Orleans and showed a more in depth look at the Original Vampires that started it all. Plec has had much success with The Vampire Diaries and the spin offs that explored more into the mystical world. Rose and Lissa tried to escape to a life away from the Vampire royal academy, but after two years on the run, they were brought back and a powerful bond between them was discovered. Throughout the series we follow Rose, Lissa, Rose’s tutor Dimitri and other characters attending St. A full Vampire who must be protected from the powerful Strigoi Vampires. Rose Hathaway is one of the main characters in the series and it is her duty as a Dhampir, human/vampire hybrid, to protect her best friend Lissa Dragomir. The Vampire Academy book series spans six books, a few novellas and even a spin off series called Bloodlines. And MacIntyre was cast as Sheriff Elizabeth Forbes for eight seasons.
If those names sound familiar, it’s because Plec co-developed The Vampire Diaries for the CW network. VA fans unite! Variety reported today that the best selling series by Richelle Mead, is being adapted by Julie Plec and Marguerite MacIntyre.
